Route 1 Day 0 Nights From Samaipata - Santa Cruz Tour Start at 06:00
By vehicle, it takes 2 hours to reach the starting point start the hike. After leaving the vehicle, a trek of approximately 6 hours begins to the main "Mirador" (viewpoint) of condors and back to the vehicle. The hike starts at approximately 1800 meters above sea level, reaching an altitude of approximately 2600 meters above sea level.
The hike after leaving the vehicle is uphill, and then the trail becomes almost flat through a sub-Andean forest where you can appreciate Mirthacia and podocarpus trees until reaching the second "Mirador" where you can observe the fabulous condors from up to 50 meters height.
On this journey, you reach mountain points with dreamlike panoramic views.
After approximately 1.5 hours at the viewpoints, we return to the vehicle to go back to the town of Samaipata.
Around 17:00, we will drop you off at your accommodation in Samaipata.
