A Short Description of Noek Kempff South Side
 This access is almost bound by land, and even that depends on the conditions of bridges and how many trees are fallen on the roads inside the park.
For many people the biggest attraction of this place is The “Caparu” Plateau and the access to this place. The possibility of spending one or more nights on the top is also something to think about when you plan your trip. The camp site is in one of the many jungle-islands of the plateau. Also El Encanto waterfall is a site almost compelled to visit.
On this side of the park the Amazonian jungle is more notorious than in the north side. During the tours also the visitors may notice the different habitats for different types of forests, grasslands others.
The observation of mammals has a lot to do with the current conditions, and the time of the year, and the zone where the group is. This because the fruits that some mammals seek concentrate some small mammals and when that happened there is the possibility that a natural carnivore predator goes the same place.
The big cats are somewhat common here. Some years ago they were far more frequent but now for some reason sometimes is hard to see them. Although they often go out into the roads to refresh or continue traces of the visitors.
The in cabins in this place are super neglected so the lodging and other services is not something you can´t plan with much security.
