From the City of Santa Cruz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Laguna Volcan & Samaipata 1 Day 0 Night We will pick you up at 8:00 A M to drive you on a highway to Laguna Volcan. All of this highway is asphalted with the exception of some sections under construction.
This place is a small valley giving lead to the formation of a beautiful natural pool. In this place are built the facilities of the Eco Resort Laguna Volcan, with an amazin view to the interior of Amboro park Time Available in Laguna Volcan In 30 minutes. On the way to Samaipata we stop in a place called "Cuevas". Here we can enjoy the natural contour near a stream, which forms waterfalls especially in rainy season. In this place we may stay 40 minutes. Samaipata is a town in a valley at 1600 meters on sea level with 4500 inhabitants. Its has a temperate climate. In this museum you can also see an explantory table which explains the cultures that have passed through the time in El Fuerte. Also in the museum you have the option to see a video about El Fuerte When the weather is cold in Samaipata or Santa cruz is very likely that up here it is much cooler. Upon ending this intereting visit to el Fuerte of Samaipata we return to the city of Santa Cruz at about 18:00 hours. Once in Santa Cruz we take you to your hotel End of our services. Thanks

After about 2 hours and 81 Km we reach the village of Bermejo. From this place we take a dirt road entirely uphill, until we stop where the road ends near the top of the a mountain.
