We start this tour at 07:30, the road that we take is the new highway to Cochabamba, towards the town of Buen Retiro. Buen Retiro is located to north and 4646 kms away from the city of Santa Cruz, which is the most populated city in Bolivia and one of 10 with more fastest growing of South America

Approximate time by car from the city of Santa Cruz to Buen Retiro is 3 hours. This road is  through the towns along the northern area of Santa Cruz

On the way we stop in Portachuelo 54565 kms from Santa Cruz. Potachuelo is known as a producer of honey and for its  famous sausages,  Portachuelo is also known for its original types of bread.

In Portachuelo we may stop at a modest place so the visitors have the option to buy some of the items mentioned  above.

The time available in Portachuelo  is ½ hour.

We continue our journey to our main destination of the tour which is Buen Retiro, where we estimate to be on time to be present at the celebration of he Mass at 11:00 hours.

After the Mass, which takes approximately 1 hour we visit the statue of the Divine Child. This is the reason for thousands of pilgrim people come all the way here to pray at him asking for favors. The fame of the Divino Niño is that he is very miraculous.

Ending the activities in this religious center we return on the same road stopping at San Carlos, where we visit a museum about the indigenous culture of the area.

Continuing our way back and with lunch scheduled for approximately 13:30 hours. We reach the town of Buenavista, a name well earned because its closeness and its panoramic view to the mountains  of Amboro National Park. Which acts as a magnet to rainfalls, also it is the water source of all its area of influence especially for the city of Santa Cruz.

After lunch we visit the Center of Interpretation of Amboro National Park. This center is located in a building constructed especially for this purpose.

Here we can study a large model of the park with many details of its details.

The Amboro park is part of the Amazon, because of this is also part of the main lung of the planet Earth.

In this model are also details the communities and the entrance points of both sides the north and the south of the park

The Interpratation Center besides of showing the entire park Amboro also teaches about the environmental interpretation  and about the wild life of  the area in a didactic way.

Completing the activities in the Interpretation Center, the visitors will have ½ hour on the own to walk around the main square and to visit the church of this charming town.

Buenavista is considered the most pretty little town in all the region of Santa Cruz

After this we must start our way back to the city of  Santa Cruz no later than 16:00 hours. So we estimate to reach the city at 18:00 hours.
