It is an area that despite its proximity to the city of Santa Cruz is very little visited. Almost all tourism in north of the Amboro is just 3 km inside the Red Line. This line separates the Integrated Management Area of the Park (ANMI) with the heart of the park. This comprises about 400,000 hectares. The Northern part of Amboro consists of Rainforests, Amazon basin, waterfalls, natural pools, hundreds or even thousands of rivers and streams, and it is full of unvisited zones. Comparing the most representative vegetation of this place with the jungles of Madidi Park or Noel Kempff in Bolivia and especially with the south side of the same Amboro, we can tell the difference at a Glance especially on the rain forest which gives life to many other species of trees and vines. But what it calls more the attention overall is the quality of the Amazon forest, which is more dense and higher in other National paks.
